From 1st December 2008 it will be a legal requirement for the seller of a residential property to provide a Home Report to potential purchasers. The Home Report will comprise a Surveyor’s Condition Report, an Energy Efficiency Report and a Property Questionnaire completed by the seller.

The Home Report will be commissioned and paid for by the seller which will significantly reduce the costs incurred by the purchaser under the present system. Allied Surveyors will play an integral part in this process with an on-line system allowing purchasers to download Home Reports at their convenience at minimal expense.
